Graveyard Keeper 2 system requirements

The PC requirements are short and unusually specific about one thing: the processor generation. Steam publishes both tiers, and the demo shares them, so you can test the game on your own machine before launch.

Other platforms

PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo do not publish PC-style requirements, because consoles have fixed hardware. The only hardware-adjacent numbers on those storefronts are Nintendo’s file sizes, and Nintendo’s Switch 2 compatibility verdict for the Switch build. Steam also reports mac: false and linux: false, so there are no macOS or Linux requirement sets to publish — the fields exist on the listing and are empty.

Reading these specs

Three details in that table matter more than the individual numbers.

It is a 64-bit-only game

Steam states the 64-bit requirement explicitly for both tiers. A 32-bit Windows install cannot run it regardless of the other components.

The processor floor is a generation, not a tier

Lazy Bear names a 13th-generation Intel Core i3 as the minimum. That is a recent chip for a minimum specification, and it is the requirement most likely to catch out an otherwise capable older machine — an older high-end CPU may still sit under the floor.

4 GB of storage is the whole install

Both tiers list the same 4 GB. It is the smallest footprint of the platforms with published sizes: Nintendo lists 792 MB on Switch and 780 MB on Switch 2, and nothing suggests the PC build is dramatically larger.

Steam Deck

Unrated. Valve’s compatibility endpoint for this app returns an empty result set as of September 16, 2026, which means no Verified, Playable or Unsupported tier has been published. That is a genuine absence of a rating rather than a missing lookup, and anyone claiming the game is Verified or Unsupported at this point is going beyond what Valve has said.

What can be said is circumstantial: the game is Windows-only with no native Linux build, it targets DirectX 12, and its processor floor is a 13th-generation chip. DirectX 12 titles generally run through Proton, but no compatibility tier has been issued.

Where these facts come from

Graveyard Keeper 2 is not out yet, so nothing here is reproduced from a finished-game wiki. Each entry below is labelled by what it is: a developer or publisher source, a platform store listing, a press report, a video, or a fan-maintained page. Fan pages are used for terminology only, never for numbers.

  • Store listing Steam appdetails API — app 4358690 (US region)Machine-readable copy of the store listing, read 2026-09-16. Source of the $24.99 list / $19.99 pre-order price, the exact category list, the 64-bit requirement wording, and the registered demo app id 5075680.
  • Store listing Steam Deck compatibility report — app 4358690Queried 2026-09-16 and returned an empty result set, which means Valve has published no Verified, Playable or Unsupported tier for this app. Steam Deck status is therefore genuinely undetermined, not merely unreported.
  • Store listing Steam — Graveyard Keeper 2 Demo (app 5075680)The demo is registered as its own Steam application and is linked from the main app through the `demos` and `dlc` blocks. Steam publishes no demo description, so the demo’s scope stays unspecified there.

Questions

PC requirements questions

Can I run Graveyard Keeper 2?

Steam lists Windows 10 x64 or higher, an Intel Core i3 (13th gen) or similar, 6 GB RAM, a GeForce GTX 1650 or similar, DirectX 12 and 4 GB of storage as the minimum. If your machine meets all six, it meets the published floor.

Does Graveyard Keeper 2 need DirectX 12?

Yes, both tiers list DirectX version 12. That rules out very old GPUs that top out below DX12 support, independently of the stated processor and memory floors.

Is Graveyard Keeper 2 Steam Deck Verified?

Not rated. Valve has published no compatibility tier for the app — the compatibility endpoint returns an empty result set. Treat any claim of Verified or Unsupported status before launch as unsupported.

Does Graveyard Keeper 2 run on Mac or Linux?

There is no Mac or Linux build. Steam reports mac: false and linux: false for the app, and the macOS and Linux requirement fields are present but empty. On a Steam Deck you would be relying on Proton rather than a native build.

How much disk space does Graveyard Keeper 2 need?

Steam lists 4 GB of available space for both the minimum and recommended tiers. For comparison, Nintendo lists 792 MB on Switch and 780 MB on Switch 2.

Do the demo and full game need the same PC?

Yes. The demo’s Steam page carries the same minimum and recommended specifications as the full game, which means you can use the free demo to test performance on your own machine before buying.
