What actually changes from the first game
Four loops carry the sequel. Each is described by the developers or visible in the pre-release demo — none of it is extrapolated from the 2018 game.
A zombie workforce
Zombies no longer just operate workbenches. They staff semi-automatic machines in underground factories, provided minimum working conditions are met, and each one levels separately. The catch is corruption: red skulls, a liability in the first game, are what let a zombie here develop better skills.
Rebuilding The Town
The Town was a legendary locked location in 2018. It is playable now — largely abandoned and overrun — and you restore it district by district with housing, cafés, shops and infrastructure. The better supplied your Town, the better the corpses you receive.
Crafting, alchemy and the Tech Tree
Raw harvest still feeds a production chain, but the Tech Tree now unlocks graveyard modules — tombs, benches, columbariums, monuments and graves — and gates the machines that make refined goods worth selling.
An army to lead
Combat is the newest pillar: towers, fortifications, crafted armour and weapons, and undead troops to arm and train. The developers frame the endgame as holding districts rather than clearing them once.

September 22, 2026. Steam, the PlayStation Store, the Xbox Store and both Nintendo eShop listings carry that date. The PlayStation listing gives the unlock moment as 9/22/2026 05:00 PM UTC.
What platforms is Graveyard Keeper 2 on?
PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Those are the five storefronts linked from graveyardkeeper2.com. No Mac or Linux build is listed on Steam.
Does Graveyard Keeper 2 have multiplayer or co-op?
No. Every storefront lists it as single-player only: Steam carries no multiplayer categories, Xbox lists "Single player", PlayStation lists one player, and Nintendo lists a single system. The original game was single-player as well.
How much does Graveyard Keeper 2 cost?
